Pair of Bresse Gauloise Chickens

The Bresse-Gauloise is one of France's most celebrated chickens, its blue feet, white feathers and red comb so precisely matching the tricolore that it has long been considered a bird of national importance. Protected by an AOC designation since 1957, it is raised in the lush pastures of Bresse with a freedom and care that produces what many consider the finest chicken in the world. These hand-painted polyresin figures, one of each design, celebrate that great French institution with affectionate good humour.
