Printed canvas reproducing Gustav Klimt’s ‘Church in Cassone’, a masterpiece created in 1913. The artwork features a village with a church located on the shore of Lake Garda in northern Italy. Klimt’s unique flattened perspective is evident, emphasising the importance of pattern and texture in his work. Gustav Klimt, born in Baumgarten in 1862, is best known for his intricate paintings featuring the female form, often embellished with gold and vibrant colours. In later life, Klimt also turned to landscape painting, enjoying the freedom to choose his subjects for himself rather than working to commission. The ‘Church in Cassone’ represents a key turning point for the artist, where he began embracing modernist influences. The canvas is mounted on a sturdy MDF sub frame and backboard, ready to be displayed in your home.

Satisfied with purchase(for me!!),but puzzled as to why I was sent TWO! I can see that I was charged for 2,and 1 has been refunded, but I HOPE the £12+ for postage for sending the 2nd parcel back to you, has been/will be refunded too. I have been away,and realise there is a 'hiccup', with the parcels address,and will sort this,ASAP.
