Christmas Woodland Parade

Christmas woodland animal decoration brings together a little procession of foxes, rabbits, hedgehogs and squirrels, each carrying its own festive gift or decoration. The figures draw on the long tradition of European folk craft, where woodland creatures have often been given human character and woven into seasonal stories and celebrations. Hand-cut and hand-painted in tin, they are mounted on a reclaimed wooden block, giving the whole piece the feel of a found folk-art object. Place it on a mantelpiece, shelf or sideboard for a Christmas display with plenty of woodland warmth and homespun humour.
