Lightly-quilted cotton jacket inspired by traditional ikat designs. Ikat, meaning to 'bind', is a dyeing technique originating from Indonesia, used to pattern textiles. The bold royal blue and cream pattern appears front and back, complemented with a blue trim. This textured edge-to-edge style jacket has side splits and reverses to plain navy so you can switch up your style every day. I ordered XL but it was a bit tight so returned and ordered XXL. It was the same size across the chest with just longer sleeves.
To return both it has cost me a lot of money so am very disappointed. Pity as I’ve coveted the jacket for years! I tried a friend’s and it was much roomier. She had had her jacket for a few years so it looks like your manufacturer is making them smaller. 😢

This is a lovely light weight, well made, summer jacket and will look good over T shirts & trousers and dresses alike. It’s a good length ie. covers the hips (although I’m 5’ 1” so it might be shorter depending on height). The sleeves are attached at the shoulder seam as opposed to dropped shoulder sleeves, so the jacket doesn’t look bulky. The small collar adds to its overall appearance. The padding is extremely light, almost non existent, hence 4 stars instead of 5, but apart from that I really like it.
