With a front mother-of-pearl button fastening and side splits, this versatile kaftan is perfect for transitioning from beach bar to bistro. Far too small for a caftan which should be roomy + not tight - I wondered why only the size 20 was sold out - it’s all the size 14 women having to buy a 20 to get a slightly loose fit caftan. I tried a 14/16 and it was form fitting over the bust + tummy so I ordered an 18 + was very disappointed to find it was only very fractionally bigger, if at all! By definition a caftan is loose + flowing but unfortunately this was not. The material was very pretty and I’m so upset re the sizing.

I always need lighter clothes for the summer months as my apartment gets very hot and you need to wear as little as possible. The apartment has large glass windows in the living room and even with blinds closed it gets very hot. So the dress will feel lovely.
