Quilt Country Jigsaw

A jigsaw puzzle with authentic American country-charm, reproducing ‘Quilt Country’, a delightfully intricate design by contemporary American artist Deb Strain. In the tradition of American folk artists, such as ‘Grandma’ Moses (1860-1961), the characterful image is formed from 17 miniature vignettes and a quilt block-inspired border top and bottom, which includes details of log cabin, flower basket and star of Bethlehem quilt block designs. A celebration of quilts, the scenes capture patchwork quilts hung on washing lines, over porch rails and spread out on the grass to be refreshed in the sunshine. With seasonal details, from winter snow and spring leaves, to summer sunflowers and the colours of Fall, the country homes and farmhouses mix Dutch gable barns with picket fences, and grazing sheep.
