Based on a luxurious leather binding originally created by the luxury atelier Bayntun-Rivière for a 1914 edition of Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. An acclaimed, Victorian bindery and a partnership between George Bayntun (1873-1940) and Robert Rivière (1808-82), the latter British with Huguenot heritage. Designed to see seven days at a time, the convenient diary includes mini reference calendars and plenty of space for notes, appointments and lists. Thoughtful details include a handy inside pocket, a practical elastic closure and a ribbon marker. Rounded corners will protect pockets and bags when taking the diary out and about. Peelable stickers on the front and back covers leave only the printed year to enjoy the design without distraction.
