5 Dala Easter Cards

Dainty Easter cards with tactile, embossed details within the lettering-design. With simple flower and leaf motifs, the pretty cards echo the stylised motifs decorating Swedish Dala horses, a symbol of good luck in Swedish culture. Developing in the Dalarna region in the 18th century, the folk painting artform called ‘dalmålning’ is characterised by bright colours and a refreshing simplicity. Often painted a characteristic ‘falu’ red, symbolising passion, Dala horses are created in many colours – vibrant orange, as in the colour of the cards, symbolises happiness and makes a joyful colour to share with loved ones at Easter.
