Description
Enjoy summer, whatever the weather, with sunny pop-up cards celebrating soft-serve ice cream cones and beach-front promenades. Spot buckets and spades, kites, sailboats and a hopeful dog in a charming design with a pop-up ice cream van. Patented in 1965 by British engineer Bryan Whitby (1932-2016), the iconic ice cream van originated in Crewe and has been adding fun to the British summer ever since. A lovely hand-made design, each card is ingeniously created from a single piece of paper; hand folded to pop-up from flat. Simply pull the base of the card forward to display standing. With shimmering metallic foil accents and a blank message space, the cards are a perfect keepsake for occasions great and small.
