After Royal Mail delivered to the wrong address and the recipients denied all knowledge, I was left without a present for a family birthday. Looks like a Parakeet but rather disappointing for the money. We get real Parakeets and good likeness. Made of metal which will hopefully look better when it's weathered.

The parakeet comes with 2 connecting stakes to vary the height, but I have used just one and can see it well from my kitchen window. It is underneath the bird feeders and hasn't yet frightened any of them away. Some them are parakeets, but they haven't taken any notice of the new arrival!

It is not as sturdy as I thought it would be, the stake doesn't connect very well as it is a slip in rather than a screw fixing so I don't think it will stand up to rough weather and would need a sheltered spot if putting in the garden. Apart from that it is a great little bird.
