Varna Embroidered Crossbody Bag

Black cotton canvas crossbody bag embroidered with a myriad of flowers inspired by Eastern European folk art. In Bulgarian tradition, floral motifs were often stitched into clothing and linens to bring luck, love and prosperity. Brightly coloured blossoms symbolised the natural abundance of the Black Sea region and were thought to carry protective charm. Designed with a zip closure, lined interior and pouch pocket.
