Sculpted form decoration reinterpreting a Kiliya Anatolian Female Goddess figurine thought to represent fertility. Such pieces were created between 3300 and 2000 BC and are called Stargazers due to their upturned gaze. Artists such as Hepworth, Moore, Picasso and Modigliani were inspired by this entirely unique style of sculpture. Resin on iron powder coated base.
