Noren Octopus Paperweight

A tactile glass paperweight which captures a characterful octopus and stylised waves, set beneath a crystal dome. Reproducing a printed detail from a decorative Japanese ‘noren’ (door curtain) dating to the late 19th or early 20th century; the original textile is now in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
