A Fair Trade cache-pot with character: this charming cat-shaped papier-mâché box is decorated with intricate floral patterns. In Hindu belief, when Brahma first created every animal, he hid a secret specific to each one inside and this is reflected in their spiritual importance. This Contented Cat Box can hold secrets, trinkets, small keepsakes, and more. A quirky addition to a dressing table or shelf, this crafted box is handmade and painted in Kashmir using traditional techniques. Each individual box will have its own unique character and may vary slightly due to the artisan nature of its manufacture.
