Bought as a present for my sister in law who loves tortoises and she absolutely loved it. Did struggle to get a bulb to fit though as all were too long so ended up getting short stumpy oven light bulbs but it works a treat.

It was quite different from the picture..for a start the 25W recommended bulb was too dazzling and then when I tried 15W the light didn’t spread through the whole shell of the turtle. It would make sense to have the bulb fitting angle upwards rather than sideways..sadly I was quite disappointed in the end result of this.
