Choice, plump chestnuts from the forests of Galicia in north west Spain create exceptional quality marron glacé, a traditional treat to eat on its own or as part of a decadent dessert. A labour of love, the time-honoured process of making these delicious sweets can take 240 hours; a dedicated and traditional process which sees each chestnut selected by hand and then carefully candied and finished with a fine, vanilla-scented glaze.
