Description
A vibrant jigsaw puzzle which reproduces ‘Jardin de Suzanne’, a contemporary screen print by Suffolk-based printmaker Clare Curtis, made in collaboration with London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. The garden scene is a fantasy of stylised plants and bold colours, inspired by an abstract floral carpet from c.1925 in the Museum’s collection designed by acclaimed French furniture designer Suzanne Guiguichon (1900-85). Curtis’s print captures the exuberant style of the Jazz Age original and the designer herself. Mixing bold, stylised flowers, puzzlers will enjoy spotting details of a gardener with his wheelbarrow, a man pruning a climbing plant, and a lady gardener with a watering can. Full of striking shapes, the puzzle is sure to keep puzzlers entertained for many happy hours.
