Cranes & Blossom Jigsaw

A jigsaw puzzle to create an auspicious Japanese landscape full of intricate blossom and sunshine, giving a contemporary twist to the traditional motifs and style of Japanese woodblock prints. Reproducing 'Blossom's Morning Grow' ('Ume Gasumi'), 2007, from the vibrant painting by Japanese artist Masayoshi Mizuho (b.1976). With red-crowned cranes taking flight over plum blossoms, pine trees and bamboo as the sun rises: auspicious symbols of long life, beauty, resilience and good fortune in Japanese art and culture. Created in a sturdy, thick puzzle board, made from recycled paper, the puzzle pieces are ribbon-cut and designed for low glare. Filled with colour and graceful details, puzzlers will savour the refreshing scene as it is pieced together.
