Apples, contrary to being 'American as Apple Pie', were not native to North America, with some species of crabapple being the closest fruit found by the Pilgrim Fathers. Brought with the colonisers, the earliest record of cultivated apples in New England appeared in 1623 and, from there, the crop spread along the coast. Echoing this fruity heritage, fruit-rich syrup which is perfect for waffles, pancakes and French toast, ice cream and desserts or added to a smoothie. Handcrafted in small batches in Thomasville, Georgia using family recipes for an authentic, downhome flavour made with all-natural flavours and ingredients. Crisp, sweet apples and spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Cooked slowly for a sweet-tasting, flavoursome syrup.
